COVID-19 Update

Baden Academy Families,

As you are aware, Baden Academy is transitioning to all online instruction on Monday, November 23rd. BACS will return to a hybrid model of instruction at a later date, based on guidance from PDE and monitoring the COVID-19 community transmission data weekly.

Teachers will provide live-online instruction each day, Monday through Friday for 2 hours daily, (one morning hour and one afternoon hour). A session will be recorded and posted each day for students who cannot attend in real-time. Teachers will also provide one office hour per day for students to ask questions or receive help. Please note that students are not required to attend the office hour of their homeroom teacher; they can log-in to any of the same grade-level teacher's office hours that fit their schedule. Teacher's office hours, live teaching ZOOM links, and daily assignments will continue to be posted in Google Classroom under the "Classwork" tab.

Attendance will be tracked by work completion, students who are not submitting work regularly will be contacted by the teacher and/or BACS Administration.

While the school is fully virtual, the current online Teacher Facilitators will be temporarily reassigned. This means that all students will receive instruction from their homeroom teacher(s).

Elements classes will continue to be self passed. Students have two full weeks to complete the assignments and turn them in. Elements teachers will offer one hour of office hours each day, Monday through Friday. The office hours for Elements teachers will continue to be located in Google Classroom under the "Classwork" tab.

Thank you for your support and patience in these uncertain times. The Admin Team and the entire Baden Academy staff wish for you and your family to continue to be safe and healthy.

Thank you.
