Mrs. Houy's two children were students in the inaugural first and third grades when Baden Academy first opened its doors, and she remains a strong advocate for school choice. She was inspired by Baden Academy’s mission and saw how her children thrived because of their unique experiences in the Media Lab and in theater productions, and she also saw how the teacher’s positive attitudes created and open and engaging school experience. Employed as a national account manager in the pharmaceutical division of Morton Salt, Mrs. Houy loves hiking and traveling and is an active volunteer.
