Baden Academy Charter School Inclusivity Commitment
Baden Academy Charter School is committed to offering a safe and supportive environment, one in which students, staff, and families can celebrate diversity and take the responsibility to maintain a culture of kindness and respect. We want to remain a school that is responsive to the needs of our students and one that advocates fairness and equality, regardless of race, color, ethnicity, disability, background, gender, or sexual orientation.
In order to best support those in our school community, we are committed to the following four points:

-
Providing equitable access to our curricula and programs so all students have the opportunity to thrive academically, creatively, socially, and emotionally.
-
Continuously supporting and implementing authentic and inclusive teaching methods so our faculty can recognize and support students with a range of needs, viewpoints, and learning styles.
-
Designing opportunities for curiosity, reflection, and personal expression to affirm the uniqueness of every person in our school community, as well as promoting the idea that different personal and cultural contexts can enrich everyone in that community.
-
Encouraging active participation in community service to instill a regard for social justice and ethical decision making in our students, and to help them recognize the role they can play within the Baden Academy community and in the wider world.
